What is Peak Milk?

June 27, 2014 Leave a Comment

Peak Milk is a cow’s highest daily milk production within a lactation for a test day prior to 150 days in milk.

Peak is determined after a cow reaches 100 days in milk and will be updated until the cow reaches 150 days in milk.

Keeping DHIA records can add a pound to your peak milk.
