Our board of directors is comprised of 15 dairymen dedicated to improving the dairy industry.

Lancaster DHIA is broken into five regions, with three directors in each region. Directors serve for three year terms, with a maximum of five consecutive terms. Officers are elected by the full board at the reorganization meeting following new elections. The board members are placed on one of three committees.

The lab committee has oversight of all operations of the lab, as well as Bylaws, the field committee has oversight of technicians, and all aspects of field operations. The finance committee reviews all financial records and financial planning. Committees meet over winter before the full board meetings, and present findings and suggestions to the full board.
